random (maybe not so random) thoughts

poor froggie,

tries to burrow

under the rocks.

my kitchen table

is cold

compared to Africa.

i listen,

but he no longer

speaks to me.

except

in my disjointed

dreams

where i am swallowed

by all the things

i have yet to do.

yes, often... too much to do and on top of it all I sometimes procrastinate and am more like that froggie attempting t hide under rocks... ribbit ribbit...

but there is a chill (to me) in "I listen, but he no longer speaks to me" until the end... a sadness as well as a feeling of being overwhelmed...

Survival of the fittest -- pity the pet store didn't tell me that in the beginning. I might have separated them. I actually know a person who trained their frogs to eat pellets from separate dishes
