Everyday poetry

Everyday poetry

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

I can't stop smiling - on review comments by Barley Girl

"

You make me feel

everyday poetry,

from the corners of my lips

to the tips of my toes

and all the parts

over, under, and in between --

I melt for you,

in my heart

and in your bed,

I sigh for you

in each pore,

and in my head ...

It's so simple, can't you see,

you make me feel poetry, every day.

I can't stop smiling,

because I know now,

this is the way

love's supposed to be.

It's good to see this change in you and in your poetry, Lyn. Everyday poetry should be happy...not sad or angry.
The new love is obviously good for you.

The poem is a delightful read...a good love poem.

Lyn Anderson,
'Its so simple, can't you see?

I noted your author's note.
Other's are such a blessing and encouragement in life.
As you mentioned above, Margie (barleygirl) definitely has this gift!
.
To find the beauty and the blessings in day by day minutes is truly wonderful.
You have given a little walk through your inner being, finding a place of thankfulness.
it is imperative that we as a people live within the effort needed to see beyond ourselves.
Blessings,
Kathy

I feel especially honoured, because your romantic poetry is so lovely.
This is such a simple sweet beautiful celebration of where you've come from & the love you now enjoy. This READS like "everyday poetry" which reverberates with your message showing the joy of not having to pretty anything up for show (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Addendum . . . as I went to click off this page, I noticed what you wrote below your title about me somehow sparking this? My honor, for sure!

Yes, I am known to take comments and wrap them into poetry. I give credit where credit is due.:)
I love when that happens. when its right and creativity knows no bounds because the flame is burning so hot and love is the aroma that we smell. Amazing words Lyn...

Thank you kind sir as always
One could say, perhaps, (which was Plath's favorite word) that poetry grants you (me) the egis to get
replete in love and worry which are neither opposites, nor the same. But they both drive back and forth on the same path and when the wheels fall off one, the other picks the stranded strangers up and feeds them. And then, perhaps (and there's that Plath favorite again) poetry, especially love poetry, frightens us, pushes us towards the windows of the house, pours our complexities towards the same emotional convictions; it blisters to be alone trying to recognize the world.

Love is poetry if there was nothing else to see. Great poem....dana
