My love for you

It breathes between the lines I write -

It glistens at the corners of my eyes,

and plays peek a boo beneath my smile

alight with fleeting thoughts

of things as they were and are meant to be ...

My love for you

it does not wane, it grows and lives

it fills the spaces,

the dark and empty places

I never wished for you to see.
