another couple of couplets

another couple of couplets

"

make of it what you will these are not necessarily the same poem, although they can be if you like

"
He made me cry
and ruined my clothes
But life moves on,
I live a ghost.
I bit the string
of sweater thread
wished most of all
that I was dead.
My crayon heart
melts in the sun,
down the pavement
the colors run.

You know Ali, you come up with some of the best imagery I have read. They could stand apart, but I defiantly love them together...I love the innocent feel of the crayon heart, biting at the loose thread of the sweater, feels like a nervous action or reaction, and how you start it out with the feeling of being transparent.

Great Write!

Tommy
