Marya

Marya

A Poem by Nosce Te Ipsum

you sit in a cafe

absorbed in your book

writing

thinking

dreaming

reading

planning

hoping

wishing

but going nowhere

though you protest

and say otherwise

your coffee is black and thick

your hand hurts from writing

your mind hurts from reading

your intentions solid upon arrival

but differ after a passing glance

you continue

your mind is like a sea

so many things discovered

but not understood

so many things

not yet discovered

youre planning already

you seduce and entice

with your sick

and disturbed mind

that cant even think straight

but you dont mind you say

you like it that way

About
Honestly, I simply write for myself. I'm not big on the technicalities. I do it to keep myself sane because generally there is no other way to release my emotions. I will be thrilled and overjoyed if .. more..
