A Poem by Aneek Acharya Pandit

Fishes were encircling around a point, where the carapace of the sea was broken, as I threw the stone to the same. A circle within many circles created on the emerald water, like a capricious monotone, murmuring an enchantment. The train expressed on over the bridge arched perfectly, blowing the whistles in descending order, with rings of fume emitting out of the charcoaled chimney, into the firmament of the country side, where the sea kisses the foot of mountain, and mountain kisses the foot of sky- and the flowers on the valley, sodden & shuddering in early morning dew, with angels flying in mind, sway in jingly jolly way. Midst the beauty of nature, I reached the man’s creation, the city of crystal roads, and sapphire sky, whose heart is the women with guns in hand and cocaine eyes.
