The Moon Shines In The Sky

The moon shines in the sky like a huge round diamond, above a world that I sometimes see as just a s**t storm.
I've been tracing my thoughts that sometimes feel like trash.... like graffiti spray painted on walls and under highway bridges.. like thrown away art.
Running on this highway called life.
I feel like second hand clothes, but I am an original just the same.
My life feels like a worn out paper bag.
There are shards of glass in my veins.

You express sentiments I'm familiar with. The only difference is there's not as much graffitti and the paper bag is plastic now. These feelings come and go for me but you've described them, nevertheless.

The moon may be shining happily in the sky, but I feel like Sh-t! what happened to my life? "I feel like second hand clothes"... a great line... and many of us do as well, as life presents problems ans stress that we cannot dale with comfortably.....and even though the stars may be shining too, life s-cks!
