What a wonderfully delightful piece of writing! Aren't mem ories like that special - ' .. as we walked hand in hand' ... ' my dad was always right by my side ' .

I love carousels t oo - they have a magic of their own and - what about the music!

Wow, beautifully visual piece of writing. Pink cotton candy and buttered popcorn! My mouth is
watering!!

Don't talk to me about the Octopus!....my father took me on that at Luna Park and I was soo terrified and
screamed soo much that they had to stop it and let me off!! True story!

Those were the days.....magical memories of carnivals and carousels, the smells, the overwhelming excitement which can only be captured on paper now, through our poems. Thanks for joining the challenge Liz.
