Fallen

Fallen

A Poem by Rose

Their growing slowly

Bigger now stretching out

Your bright their glowing

Your feathers so white

As clear as snow

I know I helped you

I'm glad about that

You know how much

I loved you

So beautiful

So young

But..

Was you like that

On the inside

I know now

I didn't need

To teach you to fly

You jumped off your cloud

And fell from the sky

Dear Rose

From the, at times, self-admittedly long-winded, self-mocking but yet constructive reviewer, James Hann-Magill?

A perfect poem about the bitter sweet of love gained and now lost.

But then as I have learnt, there is no such thing as perfection. Instead perhaps 'The only form of perfection we may strive for in life is in the acceptance of our own and others imperfections.'

The flaws enhance the beauty.

In rereading your piece and re-reviewing your life, you may find perfection in the imperfection of love lost.

I loved this poem.

It meant a lot to me in reading it.

If you read some of my reviews, they can be very concrete and precise.

With you, here, I have gone with the flow and let the words drift over me with their charm.

Accomplished piece.

Take heart and keep writing.

With my kindest reagrds

I love the imagery here
and how she descends
i can see her
touching everything and turning it white
your pen is divine
holding the mystery of a beautiful scene
so divine
i love it
