am merely writing a simple moment
but to others it seems like much more
They say I am
the character that rides the charging horse
I am
the maiden that sneaks off into the night
I am
the wind that blows the waves to the shore
I am
the moon that plays with the stars
I am
the writer of the book
and I can only agree that I merely write
the book that speaks to them
but nothing more.
