Colors

A Poem by Angie
"

Contrasts.

"

Light blue eyes, dark clouds
they stare me down.
Soaking up the cold neons
like mirrors, shooting them back
to fatally wound.

Creamy gold daylight rays
bounce off of you
you don’t absorb these hues.

Orange cracks in my charcoal
giving off heated ashes
that die on your skin.

Put out the sun in the ocean tonight.

Sounds sad.

promising metaphor here---the poem needs development..and you have lots of chances here. Great last line, though
