why do you mock me

why do you moke me

you bring flowers now that i'm dead

you never brought them when i was alive

why do you mock me

perhaps it's my unkept yard

i like it

the birds like it

the butterflies like it

what you think is tall grass

is the flowers plant

i mow around them

leaving islands of smattered color

a sensory overload if you will

i have better things to do 

now i have nothing to do

only be gone

why do you mock me so

we are so often mocked because of appearances...what we look like, how we keep our surroundings...
but who is behind it all? isn't that what is important.
Oh, when I am gone you will notice me then....and the birds and butterflies will have tears in their eyes.
