It's been a total year for hibernation with this virus wreaking havoc on our lives and our waistlines. Somehow I don't think you are alone in having put on a few kilos! I enjoyed the humorous twist in the end here; it's time to reverse the schedule....on the treadmill first and then on the cot for a nap! Nicely witty, Abhilash! :)

Many of my fitness fanatic friends have been complaining that 2020 put weight on their bodies! I love your poem about this topic, very timely, & clever with the bear motif. I feel more like a hippo, since my body isn't hairy like a bear, tho! *wink! wink!* Now that my nearby fire has been tamed & the summer heat is gone, I can spend more time doing squats in my garden! Thanks for the lighthearted sassy look at how exercise regimens have been going by the wayside! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

The first thing that happened here in lockdown was the advice you could go out for an hour every day and exercise.
The next week everyone was sporting the latest sports gear, grannies and grandpas, people who thought gyms were alien testing centres were suddenly going through the motions of being sporty.

Dear Abhilash, I think there are many who are coming to terms with an excess of a few pounds gained while the gyms were closed and restrictions in place. This made me smile and yes, it is good to share some humour in these troubling times. Take care poet.
