snow souvenirs

it's magical when it snows,

snowflakes kiss my nose.

the storm is on the way, dear.

sit back, cuddle up

and enjoy the show here.

 

little snow fluffs like cotton,

are dancing up high

and rolling down to the bottom.

a light breeze is blowing west,

sprinkling all white powder

to open the gates for this winter fest.

all this feels like a bliss,

go walk yourself out,

else, this is such a miss.

can all days be like these?

but just without the freeze, please.

oh i love it, so cute.
yesterday i found the "snowflake" necklace my ex-boyfriend bought me, he told me when he gave it to me that each snowflake is unique and that he gave it to me because i am unique to him. this reminded me of him.

even though we move places now so we don't see each other, we once felt this way for each other. a very special and naive poem. i hope you stay with such great love in every season. love is not specific to seasons. love is specific to people.

This is OK A.H. but again you are allowing the rhymes to dictate the sense and direction of the Piece. Yr Free Verse Work is better.
