A day seems like a week

A week like a month

A month like a year

So much time spent apart

It’s been so long yet still why I care?

 

A year like a calendar

A calendar like a century

It’s been so damn long and all I have

is a vague memory.

 

Tell me please that you still care

Tell me what’s wrong

No matter what I’ll be there

 

Why this timing? Why this day?

What went wrong?

Was it something I didn't say?
