Just Wishing on the Seashore

Just Wishing on the Seashore

A Poem by sunshinebear95

The sun glazing
Sparkling to the pure salty sand
Throughout the daytime sky
Like a cute orange button
Brightening up wonder and terror
Just wishing on the seashore

Crystal ocean blue
Struck with black gold in the past
Living deadlier as the Dead Sea
Yet gained richness of glory
Overtime yet to spare
Just wishing on the seashore

A whale
Singing the song of peace
Bringing life to the gray waters
Giving the gift of peace
To the grayness of the lands
Just wishing on the seashore

Sea eagles soaring
Wings spread out and all
One dives beneath the water
Yet doesn’t return
Another comes and gathers with all the others
Just wishing on the seashore

Sky blue waves glide
Fifty feet high or so
Glittering from the power of the sunlight
Crumbling down
To the hills of crystal water
Just wishing on the seashore

Clouds sway swiftly
Like a mirror of reflection
Of past memories
Along with the future yet to come
Through times of love and fright
Just wishing on the seashore
