![]() If I were DeadA Story by lou![]() This is a really angsty piece I wrote to help me with some stuff. Trigger Warning for those who are sensitive to mentions of suicide and self harm.![]() How would the world feel if I were dead? Someone so little as me, a speck on the Earth could have a big impact, at least it's possible. If I asked my friends how my life ending would affect them, how would they react? Some would say that I shouldn't because I make the world brighter, too many people care for me, and I inspire too much. Others would claim they would relapse, possibly start cutting or going back to their eating disorders. A few of them in a joking but caring manner would say that I can't because the school would start calling all of them in for counseling. Not only this, they would have to mourn my death as a school and get suicide prevention talks all throughout their years. It's heartbreaking to think of the ways that one person could inspire so much. Next on to the cheer team members, how would they react? Although some may not have liked me, I'm sure they would feel sorrow at the news of my death. They might be confused and wonder how it slipped past them that I was even thinking of killing myself. Others heartbroken that someone who was so close to them was suffering that much. The team would never be the same, perhaps the coach would retire along with some of the members. It would be devastating. Finally, we see the family. The mother is heartbroken and wants to kill herself at the loss of her child. The father cries for what seems as if the first time in forever and feels guilty for not having known. He sits wondering what he could have changed to make my life better. The sister doesn't know how to react, she sobs and sobs and doesn't go to school for the next two weeks. She started self harming and started up an eating disorder because she refused to leave her room. The brother is upset, unlike he had ever been before. He takes all his sleeping pills and never wakes up. Nobody knows how to react when you are gone, and it's startling that someone so bright, could snuff their flame in a matter of seconds with one bad choice. © 2017 lou
