Winter

It's been feeling rather cold in Louisiana

Alas the rain started falling half-way into my day,

The weather started to get colder,

and nastier.

What did the school do?

Ah, they just only cancelled the next two days.

But what do I have to do just to get food

in a campus?

That's right, just walk ten minutes

in the cold, rain that has frozen onto the trees.

However, I believe that the scenery is beautiful.

Because just seeing the icicles that are on the trees

make them all the more appeal to them.

yeah, im in college and at a dorm, so it's easy to walk around and it's a small campus

I enjoyed this poem quite a bit. I grew up in the mountains of West Virginia, and winter weather was always something I loved looking at. Hate walking through it though :)
