OUR LIGHT IN DARKNESS

OUR LIGHT IN DARKNESS

A Poem by Annette Bromley
"

Sometimes when life's problems surround us and it seems there is no light at the end of the tunnel a certain sort of fear grips us and immobilizes us from positive actions but there is hope...

"

Don’t be afraid of the dark…No matter how dark your world may seem right now there is a light shining for you, lighting the path out of the dark. Follow the light.

Though the world seems dark and gloomy
there is a light shines through
the ominous clouds that shroud our lives
that dawns each day anew.
Even in our darkness
when we’re filled with doubt and fear

there is a light still shining
for God is always near.
God is reaching out to guide us,
to ease our troubled soul.
Even in our darkest hour
God still is in control.
Whatever may befall us,
however gloom our day,
when we seek the Lord and follow
he will light our way.
He knows every need that we have.

He understands our fear
in darkness so he shines his light
and calls out Child I’m here,
take my hand and let me lead you.
Do not be lead astray.
Do not let the dark world frighten you.
I am the light, the truth, the way.
I am your light in darkness.
You need not wander alone.
Take my hand and follow me
and I will guide you home.

Such wisdom, I know you are close with the Lord. It amazing how we cannot nor believe Christ is real. It's like two worlds separated by a giant fence and until we make a choice to believe the holy ghost rarely will testify to us but when and if he does we see a whole new life beyond the temporal things.
