Birdsong

Birdsong

A Poem by anton
"

A short poem. Once upon a time in Regents Park.

"

Sang the sparrow to the tree

It is often said by some

Tho' the wind may rustle your leaves of green

You have the conundrum of the dumb.

A growing need to shout and scream

But here's the rub old chum

This splendid park, won't ever hear your bark

For you sadly lack the means.
