where X is the place your heart affiliates
and the direction your passions oscillate.

for the play at pity couldn't come at a better time.
And X is equal to the face of suffering
suddenly accosting us as scales of selfishness fall from our eyes.

for in the grand scheme of things,
we are still here because of unending grace
and X is equal to humanity's entire fate
resting in the hands of a babe-
Our Savior,
Our Advocate,
Our God

X is equal to CHRIST.
