My description of what life is like with schizophrenia

This is probably the scariest mental illness.

Probably because it’s something that can keep you out of business.

The most devastating thing about this disease 

Is that every part of it has you shivering on your knees.

There is no you in this illness.

You won’t be able to tell fake from real.

You have no control over how your emotions make you feel.

You don’t know dream from reality.

Something like this could end in a fatality.

When people see a real schizophrenic 

The last thing on their mind is to call a medic.

You don’t know anything about real emotion.

I can only imagine it to be like mental erosion.

Because of the illness you lose all your relationships.

Your entire life seems to be one big illusion

Because your main side effect is mental/ physical delusions.

You struggle with the voices in your head.

Sometimes you wish you were dead.

If normal people were in this situation they’d blow their head to blitz.

But, this is only how imagine living life with schiz.

heart breaking Anthony ... your description only brushes what its like doesn't it ... and still it is heartbreaking .. the fear, confusion and separation ..i can only imagine .. all mental illnesses need far better education of the public .. there remains far too much stigma attached .. as if one is to blame themselves for illness .. thanks you so much for sharing this stark, honest exposing some of what Schizophrenics experience ...
