Enchanted love, beautiful days,

Soft as plume, sweet as fraise.

Loved me like a fragrant rose,

Caressed until I doze.

Dapper you in folded sleeves,

And of course, that indelible romantic eve.

We vowed to protect & to care,

The love we share,

 I know, it's rare!!

Healed by smile,

We walked for a mile.

And now I wonder,

It was all the erstwhile.

Everything was perfect, impeccable,

Drowned in love & life's stable.

Don't you remember how we got wrecked,

So many memories- hard to recollect.

Our blessed stars - protected in a vault,

But who knew there was some fault.

Not a single worry- we couldn’t heft,

And yet, you left!!
