Holiday to Hell

Holiday to Hell

A Poem by Kelly B.
"

A relationship I had where I genuinely never thought this person was capable of ghosting me out of nowhere. Still don't know

"
And I still remember when you said, “If no one has told you they love you today, well, I do.” A lie you continuously affirmed, as if all its basis contained was the truth. You faded away before I had a chance to blink my eyes, with your ego in one hand, and in the other, your “not like everyone else” disguise. Even angels book holidays to Hell, a destination you seemed to know well. It’s a one-way trip to leave it all behind, no layover, no delay, a straight shot to keep me out of your way.
