I AM Love

This is an example of what true love is.

I AM Love 

I look beyond your faults and see your need

When failures knocked you to the ground, I believe

I seek your best

even if it leads you to a test

I search the heart to make it clean

I do it for all who want me

For how can you love if your heart aint pure?

Listen to my voice, I AM the cure

I don't lift up myself, instead I lift up others

I seek to make people happy betwixt another

I am patient and I am kind

I am humble all the time

I listen when no one else cares

I AM the One who delivers from despair

In my opinion, there is no such thing as love unless you have self love which then leads to the giving of love; you express this in you poem; in some ways one could be a mediator of love, one who could bring people together, ( as in counseling)......very well expressed, I like it a lot
