Over the Rainbow

Over the Rainbow

A Poem by Tate Morgan
"

There memories go to bloom again in the warm spring rains of the sky He’ll see her beauty stand before him not the passage of time go by

"

No more words dreamed by the poet

the skies are not kissed by the dew

Stories of the life they once shared

just memories of loves sweet hue

Tender words no longer touch him

gentleness he no longer lives

Alone he hides within himself

no beauty in life left to give

Music no longer rules his soul

a quiet mind surrounds this heart

Darkness descends upon the world

since he and she were torn apart

For he so loved her so complete

shared with her inner thought

To heaven go his soul alone

a lifetime with love he fought

There memories go to bloom again

in the warm spring rains of the sky

He’ll see her beauty stand before him

not the passage of time gone by

Then these two will greet each other

like some old friends and lovers do

To find the love they lost in life

where wonders of passions renew

Beautiful and so perfect. I felt this great loss when my wife died. You have captured that like no other writing I have ever seen. And then you do a wonderful transition to hope. The story is not over there is more to come. I almost feel God had you write this for me. It is a blessing to me. With tears in my eyes I say thank you.

Now this is what I call beautiful beyond beauty

wow! This is beauty on paper. Your wording is really inspiring, you arrange them well and so creatively. If I could write like this I don't know what I would do. This is purely amazing. Your imagery is so complete and full filling. I love the collaboration with the music. This poem is epic! as soon as you start reading it it's like you don't want to ever stop. Absolutely fantastic! *love the first stanza! It is perfection. I honestly started tearing up. I have poetic envy towards you now (that's a complement). This was very well written and made my day.

To be reunited one day, where a new life will begin. Up there above where the Angels sing. Touching poem my friend.

Your words capture fully the sorrow felt for the loss of a loved one, and yet the vision of the rainbow gives hope as I read.

Beautiful. Contructed with such soft language and it flows so well. Makes me very emotional though, which is in fact what poetry should do :)

You have managed to make me use a whole box of tissue tonight. And know what? I don't care. For I have never felt more alive than this moment in reading your words here. What a beautiful piece, and the music just was sheer perfection blending so well with the words, feelings that came forth.

I am sighing softly..
