Dreams

A Chapter by Luna

When I was young,
I would dream of flying,
Dream of catching butterflies
In a field of flowers that never die.

As I grow,
I would dream of school,
Of work I have yet to do,
Of what I wish to be when I'm older.

Now,
I dream of you,
Your eyes always on me,
Your lips touching mine.

You are my dream.
You are what I wake up for in the morning,
What I daydream about,
And what I wish for every day.

A beautiful poem. Those dreams are what we need to keep us young and content. The story of youth and how the dreams change was describe perfect. A excellent poem.

Lessons of life and the steps our soul advances; past a certain area of life, it seems that our most-endured years are based on affection and caring for others, love. It is true, our dreams lead us on a journey hand-in-hand through our lives, like an unseen map!
