Is there magic in poetry?..

Is there magic in poetry?..

A Poem by Arun.J
"

poetry..

"
Is there magic in poetry?…
Words a few , in rhythms and metres
clasping hands with adjectives and imagination,
telling us a tale, so happy, so cute
making us think,making us feel
making us weep,making us long
Is there magic in poetry?…

Look around you but please don't cut the TV on because if you do you will see
the opposite of word as imagination, like going to see high-fashion and
finding everyone wearin muu-muu's.

The magic in poetry is the effort to do it.
the sensitivity to read it and
the myselfness to take it all in..

and to not be bothered by the contridictions. dana

Yes there is. Read a Pablo Neruda poem or a Alice Walker poem. A good writer can open doors to thoughts and wonder. A good writer can make the writer imagination come alive. I'm thankful for the great writers. Gave us description of places we want to see and touch. A very good poem. Open the door for questions to ponder upon. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

There certainly is. They say " Magic is something you make" and only wizards with great understanding of poetry are able to create such magic with their wand pens.

Well penned!

Of course there's magic in poetry. Never mind what more cynical writers say...
