Choices

Choices

A Poem by asianeaster915
"

This is a poem about good and evil. In it I write about how I choose not to yield to evil but rather choose to embrace the good -Christ. Many people are given the "choice" to live for Him but few do.

"
There is existence beneath this cold hard wall.
The silence is only as loud as I make it.
Dust this lonely earth with smiles lest you be frowned upon.

Only hope can save me now.
I need to escape this madness.
It's like a storm that rains with bouts of sadness.

A needle in a haystack? I think not!
This is my only life to plot.
Give me what it's worth and I'll show you the truth.
I will not back down or yield to you.

Though this world may hearken to hatred.
This young soul whilst never bow down.
For I belong to a potter and in His hands I am the clay.
Color me ignorant but this is what must stay.

It shall never fade away.
Turn to grey.
Decay.

There is existence beneath this cold hard wall.
The silence is only as loud as I make it.

-Tina
