it takes the dark to see stars

Even when you lose all you know

There lies a subtle proof of the start

For the tracks remain in the snow

 

When blinded by life’s show

There is a beauty in the passing art

Even when you lose all know

 

The darkness is lifted with the secret hello

Sending hope in a silent dart

For the tracks remain in the snow

 

When lost in the darkest shadow

Let your deepest fear depart

Even when you lose all you know

 

Remember, hope brings forth life’s glow

Bringing back a long-lost star chart

For the tracks remain in the snow

 

Trapped in the never-ending meadow

Is the sound of the still beating heart

Even when you lose all you know

The footsteps remain in the snow
