Past

Most of us have trouble coming out of our past!

I ain't anyone,

To tell you not to think about someone..

All i know is,

Past f*cks you up,

And it takes you to a dump,

You feel miserable,

It drags you down..

Take my word,

I swear it won't take you to hell,

If it does too,

It would never be like the hell your in!! 

Like they say,

"Make peace with your past,

So that it doesn't f*ck up your future!"

Memories, I know they last,

But never fall into their nature!

Some people , They stay in your mind,

They make you blind,

Never give in,Never give up..
Live in the present,

Let your attitude do the talking..
"F*ck your past!" ..
Don't let it f*ck you up,

Don't let it break you,

Don't let it make you,

Don't be the weak one,

When your past haunts you..
Stand up strong,

And be who you are,

Be the one who fights back,

Be the one who never breaks,

Be the one who you always wanna be!!
So let your past stay last,

And present be what you lust!

To be frank, I started rapping this verse while nearing the ending. The flow was fast and the best part was it did not seem unnatural. I liked it a lot. And the last line was a bit profound. Keep up the goos work!

This is a beautiful piece my favorite so far, I think you could exchange some of the cussing for other words because it sort of faults up the integrity of the poem, it does very well without them.

Powerful expression of emotions can be seen here. But this is indeed true on many levels. Staying back and pondering over one's past has never done anyone good. It's a waste of time and all it brings is pain and misery.

Making peace with your past is good, but some individuals have issues that cannot be put to rest and just have to be filed away. Something will always be there and you live in the moment or allow the past to dictate your future. So your solution to the past will vary by individual. And yes we were reviewing at the same time. funny stuff.
