If I Could Reach

If I Could Reach

A Poem by Bryan Sanchez
"

Jesus Christ I hope she reads this

"
Hide with me under the stars tonight.
As we forget to forment our aims in sight
Sightless abound for the crashing waves
and the cold drippings of gale
How dear tidings yearned to speak
do take privy my perception
The hopes of my eternal raving
that castrate lucid assailant.
Above with me the teakings
of trees and retched reactionary
Close your eyes as we both give rein.

Forget not the soft whisperings
of a mad half lucidated,
half illuminated by your countenance.
Forget not the words spoken softer than sleep,
but pains of breathless in my soul
and adoration of light once more.
Take from yourself the sentencing
and I prithee softest keepings
at cause of my beating, extoltant
heart.

I mouth tremblings of sentiment
to hallowed eons of hope!
Tending forth from the cavities of my mask
Words I dare slip from my lips to your sphere
Hope that trembles before me.
I give to you the opening
of a tale you fund most tasking;
Be him the clearing
yet I the sea?
And I know your shores shimmering of gold

Listen to the existence inside
And understand I stare petrified
at a dream I ferment
and for your heart I sent

Hide with me under the stars.
and expose my strange sense of truth

About
I write poetry and screenplays, and hope to one day write a decent novel. Until then, I'll be content to fill up notebooks with ideas that'll never see the light of day, haha. more..
