Over The Moon and Then Some

Over The Moon and Then Some

A Poem by Richard William Mueller III
"

Some people want more because they believe they are deserving of more

"
Across many galaxies, beauty unfolds
Ties that bind come undone to embrace you
On magazine covers, trying to be sold
But nothing near as decadent as the chosen few

Walk along the stars from whence you came
Take a stroll through the places you were meant to be
Show how you make even the fires of kings and queens tame
Wrath, pain, and sorrow are no longer all that is true

Swim through the vastness of the sea of the soul
Be judged by everything around you in the highest reverence
Hear in eagerness as the next door universe's bell tolls
Be content with who you are or a foreign land's new magazine model, basking in the severance
