Trauma

Trauma

A Poem by signed forever

I learned this word from the study of the milk white eye,

the jagged curve   of the fractured wing.

The understanding   no,   no,   the meaning within

the word crawled toward me   no,   no,   it writhed   yes,

up the caved-in chest   through the slender

twisted throat   into the feather crested head.

Until the pop   shift   of the thin membrane cell,

the eye, poured   onto the soil   the last remainder--

I dabble. Always have. A little of everything, i guess. I like fragments, un-perfect jumping narrative thought, and commas. I'm a soda and coffee addict...no, that's not right...I'm more of a caffei.. more..
