Early Morning Tranquility

This is what I see when I leave for work early in the morning. It's breathtaking.

In the midst of the morning
a quiet calm is screaming chaos.
A transparent blanket is laying itself over the trees.
It engulfs everything in sight,
swallowing it whole without digesting it.
Something about it captures your attention
and holds your gaze and clears your mind. 
It gives you a calm feeling as you stand there and watch it.
When you step away from it,
it's like nothing was ever wrong.

Tranquil, as you begin the day
nothing can bring you down.
