Her.

Her.

A Poem by ayejodie

Jet black hair and skin like silk,
Her eyes, the brightest blue.
She followed me
into the early hours of the morning,
Beneath the blankets of a strangers bed
Quick to crawl her hands along my body.
Slow, like under water,
She kissed my lips.
Despite the rising sun,
The room was dark.
Two bodies finding each other.
I was hers.
Entangled in this web
I lay and let her weave around me.
Little lies whispering,
As they float in the air.
Danger calling out for me to stop,
Muted as I watched her.
Singing a song I've never known,
She thought me word by word.
Feeling every second,
Not wanting this to end.
Unwillingly, I left,
Went back to my reality.
Dishes, bedtime stories,
And a man.
Secretly closing my eyes
-To see hers again.

There are many woman who have fantasies about other woman. A unique moment like yours is enough to stay in your head a long time until once again you feel her lips upon yours. Experiencing something a man cannot give.

When i was reading it i did get the feel of some sort of supernatural element to it. Maybe more of a fantasy being rather than a dream. Can't explain why. Great poem.
