Attacked by your demons.

You're letting your demons live,
eating up all of your sanity,
Making them hungry
for you to be happy.
So they can eat it up all over again.

If you don't mind.
then keep your demons away from me.
Like leeches and ticks
grabbing every soul they see to eat.

Feed off of your happiness,
sanity,
and sometimes your soul.

Just let them go.
Let your demons die,
with every one you get closed to,
they're attacked by your demons.

Feed off of their happiness,
and look at you with sadness and guilt.
Don't come near me,
for then i'll see those demons.

I don't want to see.
I'll keep my sanity,
just to keep you away.
I've tried to help you.
But your getting eaten alive.

And your scary.
With death already in you.
i can't seem to bare no longer.
I won't be attacked.
Not by your demons,

please get better.

I like this, I know people like that...people who just bring you down with them, so to speak. And I like your analogy of the negativity being like demons, and feeding off happiness. Beautiful. Great write :)
