My snowless winter

My snowless winter

A Poem by Farrsight

Too warm to be snowy,
Too cold to be fun,
That was my winter
After Autumn was done.

The clouds are all gathered,
The wind makes some sound,
The sun tries to warm us,
but it can't get around.

We open the curtains,
We turn up the heat,
We grab us some blankets,
And our hearts speed their beat.

By the time it is Christmas,
The first snow has come.
But now we are freezing,
And our hands are all numb!

Very good, I love it, you're good with the rhyme scheme. Here we had snow on the ground from before Christmas 'til February I believe. It would have been better except it was really the same snow :) Great poem.

This is a good portrayal of winter season. A small and nice poem :)
