10 Months

10 months ago you left the world. January 6th to be exact. I miss you.

Ten months today.

Yet tears are cried, 

Pain is felt, 

And reflections dealt.

Your touch is missed

And your sound longed to hear. 

Your eyes were pure, 

Your smile warm.

The joy is gone. 

Darkness has fallen through. 

And I just miss you.

Misty eyed I said goodbye. 

And saw your face

For the last time.

This too shall pass.

As long with the grass.

As it grows and sways 

And the leaves give way. 

The snow starts to fall

And it somehow erases the pain 

And I'm at ease again. 

I feel you around me. 

I sense your sound.

Wash the pain away. 

On this unforgettable day. 

You are missed 

and sometimes dissed.
