Old feelings die hard

Why do I get depressed
When in life there is no mess
Is it seeing people with more fortune then I
Laughing and talking about their social lives
Could it be the fact that I can't join in the celebration
Within each couples utter devotion
Could it be that I have no life
While others cut through my void with a knife
Is it the fact that I listen to their issues
But when I need help they won't offer a single tissue
Maybe I am just too different from them
Maybe I am some weird class experiment in Chem
But I will no longer desire to be included
Because they will always make me feel secluded
