Still remember this: your kiss is such a kiss
the rapture in your eyes still makes me sigh
every doleful day I miss our wisp of bliss.

Your comet magnifies my every midnight sky
most nights I am gone ‘til way past dawn
fundamental butterfly beckons goodbye.

The way you captivate is never out of date
I turn limp as a ragdoll when you enthrall
my fancy recreates a mate denied by fate.

So, we bid adieu ‘til our next rendezvous
my long-lost lover slips beyond my covers
a visage that I pursue because I love you.

On a poem of mine about how we really need rain, Jacob read into that, how one could apply it to needing an infusion of romance. Reading that, I felt so far removed from romance, I could barely imagine what it felt like. Music can usually sway me in a direction that's so obsolete, it feels like a foreign country. A very softly romantic poem and I felt like the poet is in a dream-like state, fantasizing about an elusive yet amazing lover. The comet signifies his impact.
