Soulmate

I may not be able to see her,

but I know she's out there somewhere.

Looking for me in the midst of this crowd,

someday she will be here.

I don't know what she looks like,

or who she even is,

but she surely is the one for me,

I can bet my heart on this.

Her smile ever so contagious,

will spread to one and all.

Her eyes, innocent, child like,

will pierce through my soul.

She will love me for who I am,

in her own perfect ways.

Everything will uncomplicate,

no more puzzles or maze.

We will grow old together,

while dancing in the rain.

Together in sickness and health,

as well as pleasure and pain.

She will reinstate my "forever",

believe in my "for always".

This love will be "unconditional ,irrevocable",

we will live this epic phrase.

I just know I want to marry her,

as much as she wants to be mine.

It's going to be love in an instance,

aging beautifully like wine.

"It might seem like the movies

But I know it will come true

She might take a while to find me

But she will surely come through..."

You know how some say everyone has a soul mate? What if your soul mate lived in the time of 1902 or 200 bc ? Noone ever says they are presently alive...ever thought of that? I doubt that would be the case..odd i know..

Lol yeah I get inspired by TV a lot too :P Ted is a hopeless romantic! I can relate to him. I don't think a guy like him would be single for so long in reality though. The way he treats women, he's more the kind that has a girlfriend that he loves like crazy, but all his female friends are secretly in love with him too. But that's just my opinion lol!
I know what you're talking about here. Believe it or not, most of my poetry is based on an imaginary guy... Great work here! C:

I believe we all have a soulmate. Wherever we may be, there is someone out there for us. Someone who will accept us for who we are, tell us when we are right or wrong and who will go to no ends to fight for us. They won't let anyone come between you, more or less let anyone tear you apart. As a song titled "Sleeping With Ghosts" by Placebo states: "Soulmates never die." Which I believe couldn't be more true...

This flowed nicely, everyone wants to have that special someone that they can call theirs and visa versa. It is nice to have in mind what you want in a wife/husband or girlfriend/boyfriend, that way you know if they are the right one or not hopefully.
