Memories in a Seashell

Memories in a Seashell

A Poem by betty

Napua gave me a specal seashell at a time when I needed it

Today a seashell was given to me,

it was not on a beach, it was in a box of memories not just sitting on a shelf,

I remember the day it was given to me ,

as I walked along the sand with this seashell in my pocket.

I remember the moment my eyes met this seashell,

I picked it up and put it in my hand,

it's a symbol of the caring heart that gave it to me.

As I walk along life's path I hold this seashell close to my heart.

I embrace the beauty of this seashell,

the memories that I treasure of this seashell will always hold a place in my heart.
