The Passion Is Gone

The Passion Is Gone

A Poem by Bear
"

memories of a love long gone yet, remembered to this day....

"

You are still within me...

      always a part of me...

           but~~

the passion is gone.

      I love you

would do most anything for you,

           but~~

the passion is gone.

      It bothers me that I

      can't intellectually, philosophically

             communicate with you...

                 there's just to much static

                     on our line...

I'd like to be able to do what you

            want,

but, if it doesn't feel right... what can I do?

I can't wing my feelings if it

          doesn't feel right.

KURRUPTED-(nodding)-" very relative, and very true...been there for 8 years and in a blink of an eye it all crashed down like the world trade center; the most hurting aspect is that "why?" i still dont know, but the whole world knows that the feelings in me are'nt still flaring but they keep burning more and more"

one of the remarkable feature about sallie bear's writings i observed is the very tendency of infusing the reader into its lines....we dont read it we are it, her poems are us, the lines are our life but scripted. awesomely sad.

I like the way you draw me into your poems. This is a good description of how it feels when the "passion is gone".

I feel the same. Nothing feels right with the one I care about and I don't see things working out like I had hoped. Would you look at my work?

Nice!!! There is no truer feeling then what you brought forth. Love may still remain, but not what others wish it to be.. Passion, to me, so very important in all I believe, when that's gone, nothing can force it back..

Great write here!

Oh, I love this one. It is hurts when you love someone with genuine care and the passion is gone. It is so sad and you have captured it in this gem. Extraordinary write!!!

So many time we recycle poeple in our lives. It sounds like you took a stance. I need that courage and desire. This is such a wonderful poem. To translate your current existence and showcase such imagery is a tribute to your talents. Thanks for creating and sharing. I have to go read your other pieces.
