Thankful

I wrote this for my family during thanksgiving week!!

When it seems I have no one

and that my world has fallen apart.

When I'm hurt once again

and I have a broken heart,

You find a way to remind me,

I'll always have you.

When I say you have my thanks

you have to know it's true.

 

There is no love

like the love one has for family

and believe me when I tell you,

You're family to me.

 

I'll be there to catch you

whenever you fall.

I'll make you feel big

whenever you feel small.

 

I'll try to be as good to you

as you have been to me.

Just give me that one chance

and I'll make you see,

How much I love

to have you as family.
