Wisdon

A Poem by .::Cup^E^Cake*RaWr!*::.
"

Wrinkles in an elders face just shows the wisdom of which us young-ens don't have!

"
I wish I had more knowledge,
That of someone much more experienced in life
than I
or any other of my age.

They make fun of the elders for the snowy hair,
for the wrinkles on their face
and for the way they dress,

On the other hand I,
I have the desire to know,
To know everything they do.

Each line on the face of someone older,
is a lesson they have learned,
a mistake they have made
and a peace they have gained.

So I pray that when I am older
I will look as they do now,
for I want to have the wisdom
of the very mind, heart and soul
of the elder.
