Cancer

this is a poem just to describe what effects cancer has and how it feels to lose someone to the dreaded disease.

Cancer

You're not here and I am missing you dearly

The reason the ugly disease took you, I will never understand clearly.

You were perfectly fine the day before

But then we left and you became sick more and more.

The awful disease they diagnosed you with

When I found out, it tore my heart into bits.

They told me the name of your awful disease

The pain that day put me through no one else sees.

You, the one I loved most had cancer

Today is that day I will never forget.

Cancer, the disease that steals many lives

Cancer, 50% chance to live or 50% chance to die.

Cancer, the disease that still has no cure

Cancer, the disease that no one understands for sure.

Granny, I love and miss you so

So here's this poem to let you know

I love you so much and I must say

Maybe in the end God wanted it to be this way.
