Thankless Imprints

Thankless Imprints

A Poem by Dear Aurth,

Thankless imprints

Asked, were the bags heavy?
No but steps of moving apart were.
You know your path already,
Left or right as feeling, as sight.
You know your path,
words like take care,
follows kiss, good bye,
Perfect farewell; I'll be the one silent.

Thought, were the bags heavy?
Imprints on my hand,
what you took, what you packed.
Imprints on my head,
what I said, what you heard.
Awake so late,
thinking 'get out of the house!',
was little too much,
it meant you never stayed.
Perfect leaver; I'll be the one hurt.

Is it when around,
you find my words right,
Love happens only in plain sight?
'Thankless' ain't always,
return of words,
maybe its souvenir,
maybe a keepsake,
memories imprinted.
When doubt's wobble;
all your reckons build,
is recklessly sledgehammered,
for being unconsidered.

Whats bothering you inside,
fighting me or it,
Wont achieve peace of mind.
The memories of us,
isn't sand castle,
to be washed by waves and time.
Easy to throw words,
and hurt both sides,
Thankless imprints;
has jealousy, insecurities besides.
Gaze through my eyes,
Know then who lost shore!
Who's waiting for all this while!
