The W***e Whom I Adore

The W***e Whom I Adore

A Poem by Jupiter
"

I didn't ask for a Prince Charming

"
And no I can't find the time to abide you
nor find the means to abhor you
instead I sit here wishing
I had the space in me to adore you
I find the time to make stupid rhymes
about how I cannot feel you
when I could be making use of my time
in looking for ways to love you

(you always said I was lazy)

once upon a time
I dreamed a dream that was mine
you came along, so strong
holding your horse by the reins
the knight who rescued me from the flames
except that I was perfectly content
sitting in my castle wistfully sighing
about how my prince would never come

you rode in on your flashy ride
and offered a smile that would make angels cry
then off you tried to run with my heart
gracefully trying to tear it apart
I just rolled my eyes at your display
your dimpled cheeks
and grains of wheat hair
had no measurement of how much you'd really care
and I knew you wouldn't

(you always said my assumptions killed)

I disregarded your sorry lines
your stupid misguided directions
and your polite declines
to leave me alone and go back home
back to where you came from
that great big plastic castle
where barbie was your first w***e
and she will be your last

(you could never fit a heart
inside of her 20 inch chest
and that 15 inch waist)

she's perfect for you
just your type

(you always said I was beautiful)

Looking back up at the sky
with my cigarette in one hand
wiping the tears from my eyes
as much as I wanted you to leave
I couldn't imagine you gone
isn't that how you programmed me?
isn't this what you wanted all along?

Mr. Womanizing A*****e,
Liar,
Cheat,
W***e

(you always said it was you whom I adored)

Jupiter,
This piece stings me as I read. I can feel the scathing eyes and taste the venom. I love how you tell him in the end. Love. Angi~

Oh wow. This is really really telling, I am sure this is exactly how my mother felt when my father messed around on her. 15 inch waist? Yikes.

My previous comment was for your title.
Now for the poem -
"Looking back up at the sky
with my cigarette in one hand
wiping the tears from my eyes
as much as I wanted you to leave
I couldn't imagine you gone
isn't that how you programmed me?
isn't this what you wanted all along?"
This whole set of story telling made me read it four times.
Its normal way easy to understand but this dragged me towards one's pain.
In my upcoming poems i would use some of these lines.
I steal something which makes me hurt/pain. Way beyond, Way Stupid you can say. But, it's the best.

Vikrant :)

The Title it self reminded me of one song by - Metallica - Turn the page.
"The W***e Whom I Adore"
Its very sensitive matter/way of indulging someone in terms of writing to oneself into poem.
I know when we write something which is way closer to you or beyond it.
We cry.. we try and then sometimes we do fumble for words.
We sit back relax.. and think.
I put myself in those intense conditions and think - myself. How this would impact me if I was one (W***e)..
It is way touching/expressive thought flow...
* * * * * 5 stars :)

Cheers!!
