Cold

Cold

A Poem by Sarah
"

tell me if u like it

"

Cold

There’s a cool wind that follows me.

It traces my every foot step.

My fingers are ice,

as well as my heart.

I can’t love anymore.

You broke the warmth.

Without your eyes,

I’m cold.

Without my head against your chest,

I’m cold.

But you walk through the door,

and the warmth returns.

I have your eyes again.

You pull me to you,

my head against your chest.

My heart pounds.

You lift my face up,

and softly,

your lips press up against mine.

You pull me to your chest again.

Your hands on my waist.

Again I find your lips on mine.

And I’m no longer cold,

and I never will be once again.
